Capturing precious moments for your family to look back upon over the years is what I LOVE about my job. My photo sessions start with a phone conversation where we get to know one another a little and together decide the best location for your family. I have found going to your home, a favorite playground, park or beach creates a comfortable space for you and your children to be yourselves and for me to be creative and capture real-life moments. Once your session is booked, I will send out a contract and information packet that answers all of your questions about what to expect during our session.
The Session Day
On the day of the shoot, I will spend some time talking and playing with your children so when I take my camera out they don’t even notice. I have found that most shoots last around an hour to an hour and a half but if the kids still have energy and there is film in the camera I will keep going! Having fun is of the utmost importance and it shows in the memories we create together.
Your Pictures
Please allow 1-2 weeks after your session for delivery of your prints, which will be brought to your home or a place convenient for you. I spend some time putting together a presentation of your photos that will be a great keepsake. I am happy to spend a few moments reviewing your photos with you but there is no pressure to make enlargement choices at that time. Part of the joy in my job is sharing the excitement when you see the beautiful art we created together for the first time.
Reprints & Enlargements
Once your order is placed, I estimate 2-3 weeks for delivery.
Payment
To book a photo session, I require a $100 deposit. If for some reason the session date needs to be changed, the deposit can be put towards the new date as long as it is booked within 45 days from the original date. Full payment by either cash or check is required on the session day and at the time your reprint/enlargements order is placed.
